My first attempt at underwater shooting. I will now be purchasing a wide angle lens, as a 70mm doesn’t work so well for underwater shooting. It was so murky that I am surprised I could salvage anything from it. But this to me was simple and elegant, and so I went with it. Simple, elegant, yet dirty and gritty. Just the kind of juxtaposition I love. It is very fetal, one of my favorite subjects to play with in photography.
I guarentee this is not the last of my underwater shooting. I almost didn’t share with you all because I know that I will progress and I will learn more about the technique of shooting under water, but on the other hand it is nice to be able to grow with everyone here on flickr.
